SOBOPLAC produces and sells more than 10 millions square meters of veneers a year with more than 65 % shipped all over the world. All SOBOPLAC people, well trained and efficient, are ready to welcome you in one of our warehouses in Bordeaux – France.

Created in 1975, SOBOPLAC entrusts its production of veneers to the best manufacturers in each field. Since this date, we have been searching the best logs in various species, from the most common to the rarest.

A permanent presence in Africa makes SOBOPLAC a reliable partner on exotic species such as : Figured and Plain Anegre, Figured and Pommele Mahoganies, Figured and Plain Movingui, Bubinga, Koto, etc.


SOBOPLAC also goes frequently to America to select its Black Cherry, and Hard Maple logs.

Of course, European species are also our priority. That’s why SOBOPLAC has a partnership in a forest management business through a subsidiary company named FORESTIÈRE DE LA HAUTE MARNE. Among our European species, we could quote : Beech, Mappa Burls, Sycomore, Lacewood, etc.

And we should not forget our large production (15,000 square meters a month) of African Mahogany crotches.


We custom cut in various factories, selected on a world-wide scale for the quality of their cutting. Then, the whole process of production is made under our supervision (log opening, clipping, ...).
